Mixers are essential in mixing processes where the homogeneity of materials such as powders, grains, detergents, pigments, etc. is required to make a variety of products such as animal and pet food, pharmaceuticals and chemicals .
The mixing capacity is approximately 60% to 80% of the total volume of the container, and it provides:
1) The material flow on the upstream side of the agitator is large.
2) The agitator is in full contact with the batch.
3) Sufficient distance from the optional spray manifold to introduce liquid additive to the downstream side of the agitator for uniform distribution.
